Section 01: Agreement and Eligibility
By accessing or using ASIC.FYI, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to purchase a subscription.
These Terms are between you and Jingqi Li, doing business as ASIC.FYI. Customer support and billing assistance are available at info@asic.fyi.
Section 02: Educational Service
ASIC.FYI provides educational guides, interview-practice questions, examples, and related tools. Content is for general informational and educational purposes; it is not professional engineering, legal, tax, employment, or career-placement advice, and it does not guarantee an interview, offer, promotion, or other outcome.
The service, question bank, features, and content may be corrected, reorganized, added, or removed. ASIC.FYI aims for accuracy but does not promise that every explanation is complete, error-free, or suitable for a particular design or production decision.
Simulation Submission feedback is automatically generated and probabilistic. It does not compile, simulate, synthesize, formally verify, or otherwise execute your code, and it may miss defects or suggest an incorrect conclusion. You are responsible for reviewing the feedback and validating your work with appropriate tests and engineering judgment.
Section 03: Accounts and Security
You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding sign-in methods, and activity under your account. A paid entitlement is personal and nontransferable. Do not share access, sell an account, or allow another person to use your subscription credentials.
Notify info@asic.fyi promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. ASIC.FYI may restrict or suspend an account to investigate fraud, security issues, payment disputes, or violations of these Terms.
Section 04: Acceptable Use
- Do not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, republish, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the question bank, solutions, visual assets, or guides without written permission.
- Do not bypass access controls, probe private endpoints, share Premium content publicly, automate account creation, or interfere with service availability.
- Do not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, impersonate another person, or conduct abusive or fraudulent activity.
- Reasonable personal study, note-taking, and brief quotation with attribution are permitted, subject to applicable law.
Section 05: Intellectual Property
ASIC.FYI and its licensors retain ownership of the service, branding, editorial text, question selection and arrangement, software, graphics, and other protected materials. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the service for personal educational purposes.
If you submit corrections or feedback, you grant ASIC.FYI permission to use them to operate and improve the service without an obligation to compensate you. Do not submit confidential employer, interview, or third-party material that you lack permission to share.
You retain any rights you hold in a coding-practice draft. When you use Simulation Submission, you grant ASIC.FYI and its service providers a limited permission to process that draft only to operate, secure, and improve the requested submission experience. Do not submit trade secrets, confidential employer code, or third-party material you lack permission to process.
Section 06: Subscription Billing
Annual Premium costs $395 USD per year, with no free trial. Monthly Premium, when offered and affirmatively selected, costs $89 USD per month. The selected amount is charged at purchase and automatically at the selected monthly or 12-month interval until canceled. Twelve monthly payments total $1,068 USD; this is a comparison to the $395 annual plan, not an annual amount charged to a monthly subscriber. A new offer never changes an existing subscription without the customer's affirmative choice. Taxes may be added where required. A checkout clearly marked Stripe Sandbox uses test payment methods, moves no real money, and does not create a commercial subscription.
A signed-in account without an active paid Practice Credit plan, including a Premium account, receives two complimentary Practice Credits per UTC day. Each Practice Credit covers either one Simulation Submission or one Solution view. Opening any Solution uses one credit each time and does not create a permanent unlock.
Practice Credits are offered as Sprint for $9 USD per week with 100 credits, Momentum for $29 USD per month with 500 credits, or Interview Ready for $39 USD per month with 1,000 credits. The selected price is charged at purchase and automatically at each listed weekly or monthly interval until canceled. A signed-in customer may affirmatively schedule a different plan for the next renewal. The management screen shows the replacement plan's exact recurring price, cadence, and effective date before confirmation. Scheduling the change creates no immediate charge or proration, does not change the current allowance, and can be undone before renewal. While a paid plan is active, its cycle allowance replaces the regular daily allowance. Practice Credits reset to the plan allowance at the start of each paid billing cycle and do not roll over.
By submitting a live order, you request immediate delivery of the selected digital benefit and affirmatively authorize the recurring charge shown in Stripe Checkout. You can cancel a Premium renewal through /account/billing or by emailing info@asic.fyi. Cancellation does not refund the current term, and voluntary refunds are not offered except where nonwaivable law requires otherwise.
A Practice Credit renewal can be canceled from the signed-in Credit panel or by emailing info@asic.fyi. Cancellation stops future renewal; unused credits remain available only through the current paid billing period and expire at its end. Practice Credits do not unlock Premium questions or content. Premium unlocks Premium Solution content, but every Solution opening still uses one Practice Credit. Premium does not include a paid Practice Credit plan or paid Simulation Submission allowance.
The Subscription & Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy are incorporated into these Terms. The selected plan's exact price, billing interval, renewal terms, and cancellation method are shown immediately before consent and in the retainable purchase confirmation. Nothing in Checkout or these Terms reduces a customer's rights under those policies or applicable law.
Section 07: Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the free service at any time. Canceling Premium or a Practice Credit plan stops future renewals, while the already-paid benefit ordinarily continues through its current term. Practice Credits expire at the end of their billing period and do not roll over. After a failed renewal payment, live Premium access may continue during a seven-day grace period; paid Practice Credits may be suspended until payment succeeds. ASIC.FYI may suspend or terminate access for material violations, fraud, unlawful conduct, security risk, or nonpayment, subject to applicable law and the Refund Policy.
Section 08: Disclaimers and Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ASIC.FYI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. ASIC.FYI's aggregate liability for a paid claim will not exceed the amount you paid to ASIC.FYI during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.
Section 09: General Terms
These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent; ASIC.FYI may assign them as part of a business reorganization or transfer.
Material changes will be dated and communicated where required. Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@asic.fyi.
